The new Ford Escape is a versatile compact SUV that can be configured in a multitude of ways. With ten trim levels, the Escape lineup is diverse. The new Escape is a model that provides extensive capabilities for drivers and passengers to enjoy.
Power
The Ford Escape lineup offers many gas-powered and hybrid models for customers to choose between. There are a total of four powertrains that are available for the new Escape. The Escape can be powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter three cylinder engine, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, a hybrid platform, or a plug-in hybrid powertrain. A front-wheel drive drivetrain and an all-wheel drive drivetrain are both available for the Escape as well.
Towing
The Ford Escape can tow up to 3,500 pounds when it is sufficiently equipped. The Class II Trailer Tow Package that is available for the Escape allows drivers to reach the maximum towing capacity of the Escape.
